Data deletion

You can ask for your personal data to be deleted at any time. This page explains how.
How to ask
Send an email to admin@zay.ia.br with the subject “Data deletion”. Tell us whether you are a professional who uses Zay.ia or a client of a professional and, in that case, the phone number you used on WhatsApp and the professional’s name. We may ask you to confirm your identity so nobody else can delete your data.
If you are the professional
We delete your account and the data tied to it: setup, services, calendar, clients, conversations, appointments, payments and the WhatsApp and Google authorizations. After the request, the assistant stops answering on your number. You can also remove the Zay.ia app from the integrations of your WhatsApp Business and your Google account.
If you are a client of a professional
Since the professional is responsible for the service, we forward your request to her and delete the name, phone number, conversations and appointments that the assistant stored about you, on her instruction or where the law requires. Messages that remain on the professional’s own WhatsApp are not under our control.
Timing
We reply within 15 days and confirm by email when the deletion is complete.
What we may keep
Data that the law requires us to keep, such as tax records of billing, or that we need to defend ourselves in legal proceedings, is kept only for the required time and is no longer used for any other purpose.
